You can go fishing directly from the cottage quay. Each villa provides a rowing boat that can be freely used by the guests. Life jackets for four and rods for worm-fishing are part of the basic facilities in each cottage.
Lake Isojärvi offers pike, pikeperch, perch and roach. In the winter you should experience ice fishing! At only a half-hour drive from Huvilaranta, the Palsankoski Rapids fishing resort in Multia offers you a 3-km-long area comprising three fishing rapids.
It is relaxing to go rowing on Lake Isojärvi even without any fishing equipment, enjoying Central Finland’s beautiful nature – and, for instance, the sunset. A quiet electric outboard motor is rented for the boats of the villas (€30 per week, €20 per weekend).
“Once again we spent a great week here in a familiar setting. Despite the slightly chilly weather, it was nice to stay here.
