Are horses your passion? While staying at the Huvilaranta villas, you can go horseback riding, attend courses or book riding lessons at three nearby horse farms. Please book the outings and riding lessons before your holiday.

• Korpi-Jukola farm: In addition to booking riding lessons on the farm’s horses, you can board your own horse there while taking holidays. The farm has a stable for 22 horses, and its main occupation is to provide full board for horses. The year-round activities range from courses to training and private lessons. Korpi-Jukola is located about 10 kilometres from Huvilaranta.

• Ponilaakso riding school: You can ride on ponies and horses from autumn to spring. Riding camps are organised in the summer. Ponilaakso is about 20 kilometres from Huvilaranta. www.ponilaakso.fi

• Kokkomäki stable: On calm Finnish horses you can visit, for example, the Syrjäharju nature protection area or the Petäjävesi Old Church, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Kokkomäki stable is 15 kilometres from Huvilaranta.
